Like many communities, playing outdoor sports in Southwest Montana requires contending with unpredictable weather conditions, field availability, and accessibility issues. Longtime local community members and MSU alums set out to provide a solution to these problems by creating a local indoor facility where multiple sports could be played at the same time all year-round.
Montana Indoor Sports offers a turf field and court space where players can practice soccer, lacrosse, volleyball, basketball, softball, and baseball in climate-controlled comfort. Resources for active play through team building, camps, corporate events, and parties are also available. The facility even offers a unique preschool program that combines the traditional curriculum with more opportunities to increase physical activity and establish healthy lifestyles at a young age.
Becker Arena Products, Inc. partnered with Montana Indoor Sports to build and install the 160′ x 85′ soccer dasher board system featuring soccer goal frames with retractable closure panels, Ultracore™ dasher walls, and tempered glass walls for spectator viewing. Protective horizontal and vertical netting were also provided by Becker.
